I finally managed to finish the face-up (haircut included!) of my custom 1/6 doll of Char Aznable :D

So, let's start with a refresh on what happened in the previous post x'D
The base is all Volks stuff... NEO EB Body GOH and GOH head 03 with implanted hair ('Platinum Gold' color), all in "Guy" color. Blahblah!
On the left you can see the original face, on the right the face after I sanded down those horrible duck-lips-- Also if somehow he turned out more "pouty" than I intended...

So, yesterday I finally started to paint his face!
As I thought it was a COMPLETE PAIN IN THE ASS x'D
I used my acrylic colors and I gave the eyes a finishing touch with my 0.05 KOH-I-NOOR permanent marker for the eyelashes (no way that I was going to paint those XD)... Here is a shot of my room this morning, when I resumed to work on the details of the face-up that I couldn't really get with nocturnal light... My mother entered and said "--What is this mess?!" LOLOL...

Here's a nice shot of the face-up once I was done:
I kept a screenshot from the anime as a ref, but unfortunately my mind was drunk with all those beautiful custom dolls where the subjects look like aristocratic vampires of sort and Char came out a bit too "MarilynMansonesque" that I intended, but I'm generally happy with the result :D

Next was the hair-cut.
To be honest I tried to give him a "perm" since, contrary to popular belief, Char's hair is not straight but wavy.
I followed a simple tutorial some days before starting the painting, but unfortunately after a few hours his hair lost most of the waviness >_>; Frustrated and kinda pissed, I decided to not experiment further and cut his hair like this, to give the impression of not-so-straight hair.
The result is not amazing, but at least they do look like Char's hair :3

After the cut, some intense conditioning--

--And after I removed the black thingie that kept his hair in place, the result was what you can see from the picture at the top of this post ^_^

Now there's clothes left to do--
