Today is my day off, so I'm taking care of the stuff that kept died in my sketches folder since for ever :D
One of the last pics that I'm taking care of is this Pico x CoCo x Chico thinglet, where I drew the boys in heir legal age and indeed masculine attributes!
( 'Boku no LEGALITY' - Coco/Pico/Chico - I'd rate it a G, but you guys would probably rate it a PG... )
--As you can figure I recently watched the three episodes of the Pico Series and-- DAMN, that shit is fucking hot ò_o !!
I mean, don't misunderstand me, I hate girlish boys and shota is not really my favourite genre but-- DAMN, it's rare to see that kind of naive sensuality portrayed in such a suggestive way. Let's face it, Yaoi series are fun, but rarely good enough to actually arouse you.
This series is pretty arousing though! The seiyuu made a wonderful job on this, with all those tiny whimper/sigh details-- Ok, I stop here 'cause I sound like a perverted old man who's fapping on little kids instead of competent fujoshi who just enjoyed some OVAs XD
Thumbs up, then! --My favourite has been Pico to Chico! But I loved Mokkun too-- Buuuuh, Mokkun, don't leave your pretty boy alone ;3; !!
Then, I finally managed to read the last Naruto chapter! (actually this morning I spoiled the whole thing anyway on some forum, but it's not the same thing than reading an actual chappie, you know XD)

Oh, I started to read another intriguing manga, Sidooh (it's an alternative spelling of "Shido", "Samurai Code") :3 !
Again, a historical manga featuring two brothers who want to become samurai to commemorate their father's memory, getting mixed up in the Meiji revolution.
It's a really interesting story, and an original view on the subject :D

Then, as you can imagine, the scans stopped getting released Dx
--And of course, I got to know that this manga IS ALREADY PUBLISHED IN ITALY TOO Dx
Today I managed to buy the volumes that I needed.

It's happening motre and more frequently: instead of taking care of my stuff I find myself browsing through YAOI stuff, at first just to take a peek at popular shit and ending up spending whole days over it D:
Some visitor posted on my y!G account a video related to Gackt in Vocaloid universe: he his character was singing a song, Under the Darkness, which is nothing but the opening of a BL videogame, Kuchiki Megane.
The story is fun but also utterly stupid: here you have your average pussy salaryman uke who receives a pair of magical glasses from a mysterious guy.
The glasses have the power to completely change his character and turn him into a brilliant and sadistic seme.
You have five boys to choose from: your energic co-worker, your gentle superior, the funny waiter of a little bar, a slutty teenager you picked up in a night club and the evil corporate from the Management Section of your company, and besides the various bad and happy endings, by how much you use the glasses, you can choose if acting as the uke boy or the seme boy, getting further endings and plot-twists.
The general bad ending performs our protagonist becoming the sex toy of the guy who gave him the glasses.
Some Saint Girl posted her walkthrough for the "energic co-worker" and "evil corporate" games (unfortunately the porny scenes are cut-off or you have to request them to her via PM), with English subtitles: it's a tad Engrish, but it's always better than Japanese to understand XD
Also, good luck if you can stand all the economy stuff the series is about-- At a certain point I just skipped through the scenes looking for the "bonding moments" XD
As you can see, I'm a fan of the "evil corporate" version, if just because I like the character of Midou.
Just to give you further material to fap on, it's been released a manga version of it, and the chapter released til now features exactly Katsuya/Midou... Hopefully we'll get all the five of it :D ?
So, I was watching and reading this stuff, enjoying the twisted plotline greatly, and the sad image of the average otaku came to my mind: I guessed that fujoshi are just the girly side of the coin but right now I think that we're a little better.
Think of a sad otaku with his shitty moe complex, and you realize that his tastes are only defined by the look (if not the plain style) of the character and how many tributes from other series the authors can squeeze in it-- At least a sad fujoshi gets DOKIDOKI over a plot! |

I wanted my Shigurui fix, so I just looked for some AVM over YouTube.
( Here's a selection of the best things. )
I mean, you see me drawing about this series and ranting about it, showing you some anime will probably make things clearer to understand XD
I looked also for Japanese videos, but they REALLY SUCKED.
I mean, they choose slow and WTF songs, that as they fit the pace of the series (the anime is way more surreal and symbolic than the manga... In fact sometimes I couldn't really tell what was happening LOL) are WAY TOO BORING.
Then, I mentally and morally destroyed myself over the scanlations releases without knowing that-- THE SERIES IS LICENSED IN ITALY. AND IT'S AT VOLUME 11 (just think that in Japan has been just released volume 12).
NOW, if my stupic comic-seller would start replying to my fucking e-mails about it, it'll be a further step ahead... |

I tried to make it more interesting by setting the scene in Italian Renaissance-- Oh, pretty vampiric boys in gorgeous clothes <3 --Please note that I'll have to fix the uke's nose XD
While looking for ref pics for the clothes I took a peek at Japanese vampires 'cause I got a bunny about it. I stumble over this super-scary shit.
Oh my, why I keep being so fascinated by guro innuendos Dx ?! Now I wanna really draw this XD
Also, while browsing the intraweb, I managed to find this awesome figure of Gennosuke from Shigurui.

--I'm just wondering about who could be the guy with "a faraway look in his eyes" and the "powerful horse"-- I was opting for Turkey but he doesn't match very well with the Mexican hints of that part XD

Yeah, today I managed to finish the linearts for the postcard portraits of the Sakura mishō zo (from now on, shortened as Sakurazo 'cause I'm linguistically nonchalant like that)'s protagonists.
LOL! Instead of producing this shit I should start working on the comic, that's it X'D
( Nobunaga, Mitsubachi and Ranmaru )
You can easily tell that Nobunaga's is my favourite portrait of the slot (I'm so proud of the pose-- So NOBUNAGA'S. I got it from that tiny panel of Sengoku. Also, rejoice in Nobunaga's hotness, my friends). --Also if I'm very happy of how Mitsubachi's looks, too. I'm a bit hesitant about Ranmaru's, but that was to be expected-- It's difficult to portray a character who's just famed as a pretty boy with some balls >_> But I swear that I'll make him better in the comic! After all a static image can't compare to the actual scenes that I have in mind-- Ahah, it's going to be really fun x3 I should stop flailing around and focus on the plotline... PLOT DAE, PLOT!
Tomorrow I'd like to work on the portraits of the minor characters (Ranmaru's little brothers, Nobunaga's dutiful son, Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide and Toshiie-- OH YEAH!)... I'm still wondering over some of their characterizations, though. Mitsuhide is a huge question mark-- I can't really tell what kind of guy he was, I have so many contradictory informations over him D:
--Bah. I think I'll just characterize him as the small-minded literate asshole he was.
OH, and tomorrow is the Holy Easter! Since I'll be too busy with drawing thinglets and stuff my face with chocolate eggs, I wish you a good time in advance ^_^ !

Well people, I'm watching this video and I'M FEELING GAY.
--Sorry for the long absence! I drew some little fanarts and kept on with the original project, but life and work hve been so tiring and stressing that I didn't manage to update you properly...
I don't have many things to say, things go always on the same routine-- Work, being bothered, being tired, drawing, listening to music, trying to catch up with anime and reading some manga stuff online.
Since my life recently revlves around this last point I decided to share some good stuff with you!

Hi guys, how are you doin' ;3; ?
Your Dae is pretty fine despite the lack of updates; and no, 'm not extra busy with commissions despite the entity of my to-do list: my actual commissioners are pretty slow in checking the stuff and approving them, so, well, I'm not really going to complain for this, I'm just a little bothered that the other people inline have to wait.
Anyway, I'm here today to share with you my UTTER JOY for getting my Ninja Kamui DVD box <3
I must say, the Italian edition is pretty lame, as usual, but at least I can watch my beloved whever I feel like too <3 And there's the original audio available, so I can finally get all those mistaken names of places and people by the miserable 80s TV adaptation >3>
There are no many contents, just the trailer from the series.
The menu is pretty, though, with some hi-def Kamui's shots <3
 
All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase; here you go with a pretty shot of my favourite character, awesome Itsutsu from Nabari (and sorry kids, but I totally see Itsutsu/Kamui happening-- MAJOR FANWORKS IS COMING (° ∀ °))

So, I'm in my happy world watching Ninja Kamui over YouTube and since I was there I kept searching for other oldies.
This way I managed to find the (color!) pilot episode of Dororo (later Dororo and Hyakkimaru), a horror series set in the Warring States period by the awesome Osamu Tezuka.
The episode is not subbed, but the summary in the video notes is exhaustive enough to understand what's happening.

The fact that a Krauser's Revoltech figure (!!) has been released remembered me to talk you about Detroit Metal City.
Have you ever seen this series? It's been released into 12 OVA episodes, 1 movie (that hasn't been subbed yet so I DON'T KNOW D: But it's famous because Krauser/Souichi is played by Kenichi "L DESU" Matsuyama) and a still ongoing manga, currently licensed by Viz.
This series is AWESOME.
It's obviously of the demential kind, making a Dae laugh from the beginning to the end, and it's about a cute boy who went to Tokyo to become a trendy pop singer but ended up being the infamously vicious leader of a Death Metal band... Tragedy ensues when his evil personality takes over his usually cute one, or when he's forced to wear the mask of Krauser to cheer up people or showing them "the right path" XD

I'm... Confused.
'Cause I thought it was the sequel of the original series but it looks like it's something like an alternative retelling.
Which kinda sucks.
Still, this series is awesome <3 It's kinda bothering how everyone is saying that Casshern is pretty (XD) and how all the robogirls kinda lust after him, but it's still enjoyable, expecially graphically, with its mix of old-fashion and modernity.
--I hope the plot starts revealing itself soon, I'm really curious to know what happened before the series started!

Wow. Already 6 episodes out an the series still has to start XD
The first episode introduced (??) the male protagonist of the series, and the second the female protagonist.
Then, there's this flashback talking about the female protagonist and her past, revealing her relationship with the supposed villain.
It's interesting, all about Japanese exorcists and sacred beasts, authoritative fathers and yuri fanservices.
I look forward to the real beginning of the series, though.

Being the Hokuto no Ken avid fangirl that I am I was quite looking forward to finally watch this series, focusing on Kenshiro's evil older brother, Raoh.
I'm happy with the result, but a little disappointed too: Raoh is characterized as some kind of retard and the plot doesn't look as intense as the original series... Well, I hope the groups won't stop subbing it anyway XD
